Canada Goose: Human Nature - Animation. “Next Gen on the power of ice”
A new kinetic type animation created in anticipation of going to a baseball game with a friend. (Toronto Blue Jays) I'm teaching an after effects / motion graphics course at @miamiadschoolto so have been playing around with some new techniques. Thanks to Mat Voyce and Stefan Woronko for the tips & inspiration.
This campfire scene was done using existing assets from a tutorial, I created the animation as instructed. The moving textures, trees and fire attracted me to learn these steps. The characters, I could build my own in this way. I liked the feel and see potential to use an approach like this to bring other illustrations to life.

A social post and email blast for the holidays. Animated frame-by-frame in photoshop, demonstrating smearing as the lines jump.
